Meghan San Gregory is a Marketing Intern & Russian Language Specialist at KW Commercial 889-9898 with Russell Bernstein, CBI. She is currently studying in her 5th year at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) as a double-major in Graphic Design and Russian with a Minor in French. While studying at Bowling Green, she has participated and held leadership positions in a few organizations on campus - such as her role as President of Russian Club (2017-2018). Her admiration of global cultures, languages, and arts has inspired her to begin a career in both design and translation.
Adventurous at heart, Meghan has gained a love of traveling after participating in a study-abroad excursion to St. Petersburg and Moscow, Russia, during her Summer semester of 2017. She not only uses her experience to advance her career, but she has enjoyed teaching others as a tutor of language, culture, and art history for the past two years.
This year, Meghan has also worked to gain experience as a designer working for the Marketing & Communications Department on Bowling Green State University's campus to create visual material for marketing and social media. She is also currently working as an intern for BGSU's fine arts gallery, in which she works with a team of students to create material to advertise and promote events and gallery showings. Her work in Design has been both rigorous and rewarding.
As a language student, Meghan has won numerous awards for her efforts. To name a few, she has won a Bronze Medal in the National Russian Essay Contest, 1st Place in Olympiada: "Contest of Spoken Russian", and 3rd student of her university to receive the Russian Laureate Scholar Award in the past 2 decades since its instatement. Although she has studied the French language over a much shorter time, she has won a renewable scholarship for her performance in French classes.
In the future, Meghan intends to start a career in Design with the hopes of either working internationally or for a corporation with strong international ties.
